Groove&Grain
Furniture designed around the way you listen
A passion born long before the brand
Vinyl transformed the way we listen to music starting in 1948 with the arrival of the long-playing record. When the CD took over in 1982, many predicted vinyl’s demise. Yet, the ritual endured: choosing an album, dropping the needle, and listening at a leisurely pace.
It was within this world that the idea for Groove&Grain took root. In 1990, its future founder began collecting records and hi-fi equipment, noting that no single piece of furniture truly combined storage, stability, and character. A first, custom-made unit in 2004 offered a preliminary solution.
As vinyl began to regain a lasting audience from 2006 onwards, this intuition truly came into its own. In 2011, Groove&Grain officially became a brand—a furniture collection designed to bring a sense of harmony to the sound, the objects, and the room itself.
